An octogenarian was shot dead by an unidentified person in Sitio Calagmakan, Brgy. Camindangan, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, March 21.
The victim was an 81-year-old resident of Calagmakan whose name was withheld by the police.
The victim was fetching water from a deep well when he was shot, the police said.
The victim was rushed to the Sipalay City Health Office where he was declared dead.*
