NOCPPO names five new acting police chiefs

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office named new acting police chiefs in five component city police stations in the province during a turnover ceremony at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr., Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City, on Friday, January 5.

The new acting police chiefs were assigned to the cities of Cadiz, Himamaylan, Kabankalan, La Carlota, and San Carlos.

Lt. Col. Roberto Indiape replaced Lt. Col. John Joel Batusbatusan as acting police chief of Kabankalan City, while Lt. Col. Anthony Grande, who was previously assigned as the Chief of Provincial Plans and Programs Unit, replaced Lt. Col. Reynante Jomocan in Himamaylan.

Batusbatusan will be assigned as the new acting Cadiz Police chief replacing Lt. Col. Gil John Despi.

Lt. Col. Eduardo Corpuz, who was previously designated as the Chief of the Provincial Investigation and Detection Unit, replaced Lt. Col. Jesus Mesahon Jr. in San Carlos City and Lt. Col. Aron Palomo replaced Lt. Col. Lowell Garinganao in La Carlota City.

NOCPPO Director Col. Leo Pamittan, who led the turnover, challenged the incoming police chiefs to continue the good record and legacy left by the outgoing officers and to strive for excellence in every aspect of their duties.*
