The Negros Electric and Power Corp. (Negros Power) on Friday, Sept. 12, issued a reminder to its consumers against making payments directly to any company employee or contractor.
“They are not authorized to collect payments on behalf of the company, and any such action will not be tolerated,” it said.
Negros Power said for the safety and convenience of its consumers, they should pay only through their accredited Third-Party Collecting Agents or directly at the Negros Power office cashiers.
Should a consumer encounter any individual asking for payment outside of its official channels, Negros Power is asking that the incident be immediately reported so proper action can be taken.*
