The police had another big drug haul in Negros Occidental on Monday, February 12.
The police arrested three individuals from Lanao Del Norte and seized P4.08 million in suspected shabu in Brgy. Hilamonan, Kabankalan City.
The Kabankalan bust brought to P8.26M the amount of suspected shabu seized in Negros Occidental in the last three days.
The police arrested Lykey Vina, 38, Hamid Sanggacala, 19, and Cherry Tuazon, 34, all from Illigan City, Lanao Del Norte, in a buy-bust operation Monday morning.
Recovered from them were six knot-tied plastics containing suspected shabu weighing 600 grams with an estimated street price of P4,080,000, the police said.
Also seized from the suspects were a phone, a car, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects were turned over to the Kabankalan Police Station for custody while the drug evidence was turned over to the Negros Occidental Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
The Bacolod and San Carlos police also seized suspected shabu worth P4.18M and arrested five individuals on Saturday, February 10.*
