Neg. Occ. cholera cases increase to 47, guv says

Confirmed cholera cases in Negros Occidental have hit 47, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said Monday, November 21.

Forty-three of the cases are in the Third District of Negros Occidental, while four are in the Second District, a cholera surveillance report submitted by the Provincial Health Office to the governor showed.

Talisay City remains the topnothcer with 20 confirmed cholera cases, followed by Silay City with 15 cases and one death, and EB Magalona with six cases and one death in the Third District.

Victorias City has two confirmed cholera cases, while Cadiz City and Manapla have one each in the Second District.

Bacolod City recorded 21 cholera cases from September 1 to November 12. No updated report was available on Monday.*
