A 24-year-old motorcycle rider died after he was run over by a truck at the national road in Brgy. San Teodoro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, March 26.
Police identified the victim as alias “Patrick,” a resident of Binalbagan.
Investigation showed the victim was driving a motorcycle and attempted to turn left when he was rear-ended by a Mitsubishi Fuso truck traveling in the same direction.
Authorities said the impact caused the victim to fall on the road and he was run over by the truck.
He was brought to a hospital but was declared dead by the attending physician.
The truck driver voluntarily surrendered to the police.*
