A motorcycle driver died after he figured in an accident in Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City, on Saturday, September 3.
The fatality was identified as Lemwel Lumawag, 25, of Barangay Mandalagan.
The victim’s speeding motorcycle rear-ended a tricycle driven by Mark Anthony Desucatan, 32, of Barangay 18.
Capt. Armilyn Vargas, Police Station 3 head , said that the victim, who succumbed to head injuries, was reportedly under the influence of a liquor.
Both parties have initially agreed to a settlement and the tricycle driver will be released from police custody after the lapse of the reglementary period.*
