More artists collaborate for community mural

The mural along Lacson Street*

Fifteen artists volunteered to create another mural along Lacson Street to add more color to the MassKara Festival in Bacolod City on Monday, October 14.

Members of the Arts Association of Bacolod, along with the Bacolod Yuhum Foundation, collaborated with Boysen Paint Philippines for the community artwork at Lacson from 19th to 20th streets, which is set to be unveiled Wednesday, a press release from BYF said.

The mural will be “All Things Bacolod”, said Tey Sevilleno, president of the Arts Association of Bacolod- Negros. “It will showcase the culture, food, and traditions that will definitely attract tourists.”

Last year the AAB also created a mural along 18th to 19th Lacson Street.*
