The Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) will deploy mobile power generators as backups in case of power interruptions during the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on Monday, October 30.
Ceneco acting general manager Arnel Lapore told DIGICAST NEGROS that Ceneco has already deployed personnel to respond to power needs in election areas.
“Our crew will respond quickly if there are cases of power interruptions,” he said, adding that “If the cases are very crucial, we will try to respond with our mobile generator sets to energize the area”.
He also said that there will be no scheduled brownouts during the elections within the areas of CENECO and he hopes that there will be no major problems in terms of power.
“We have already mobilized our personnel and established specific tasks and our crew is ready to respond in every election area”, he added.*
