Megaworld Corporation is set to turn over 328 units at One Regis, its first residential condominium tower at The Upper East township in Bacolod City, to their owners in September, Jennifer Palmares-Fong, its Visayas vice president for sales and marketing, said on Friday, August 26.
The units at One Regis, which were purchased at P101,000 per square meter in July 2018 are now selling at P204,000, or an increase of 102 percent, Megaworld reported.
One Regis will be ready for occupancy in time for the MassKara Festival in October, Harold Geronimo, Megaworld vice president and head of public relations and media affairs, said during a media tour of the condominium tower on Friday.
One Regis is a 12-storey building, with 11 residential levels and a parking area located at the ground floor and basement.
Among its amenities are an adult pool, kiddie pool, pool deck and lounge, day care area, events hall, fitness lounge, yoga and Zumba area, toddlers’ play area and a walkway landscape.
Geronimo said The Upper East will be one of the major venues for the MassKara as Megaworld is one of the major sponsors of the festival.
The 34-hectare The Upper East, Megaworld’s second township development in Bacolod City, is located on what used to be the Bacolod-Murcia Milling Co. site on the eastern side of Bacolod City.
“The Upper East is Bacolod’s first master-planned, mixed-use community that will host Bacolod’s newest and most modern central business district. The township will be the city’s own version of an upscale lifestyle hub where residential condominiums, lifestyle malls, commercial centers, BPO office towers, tourism and leisure facilities, a transport hub, recreational parks, and open spaces are integrated to create an exciting live-work-play township, which Megaworld pioneered in the Philippines”, Megaworld’s website said.*
