A motorcycle mechanic died after he was shot while sleeping in Brgy. Patun-an, Calatrava, Negros Occidental, at midnight Sunday.
Joshua Libre, 32, a resident of Zone 4 in Brgy. Patun-an was shot by an unidentified suspect while he was sleeping in his house.
According to the victim’s live-in partner, they were sleeping in their house when she heard a gunshot beside her.
She then noticed that her live-in partner was moaning in pain.
The victim was rushed to the Calatrava District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival, while the suspect escaped.*
