A meat vendor died after his jacket got caught in the chain of his motorcycle, causing him to crash in Bacolod City on Tuesday morning, July 14.
Police identified the victim only as “Leo,” a resident of Purok Guanzon, Brgy. Mansilingan.
The road incident happened in Purok Katilingban in the same barangay.
Initial investigation by the Bacolod City Police Office Traffic Enforcement Unit showed that the victim was driving his motorcycle when his jacket was pulled into its chain.
The motorcycle crashed, leaving the victim with injuries on different parts of his body.
Medical responders found him lying on the road and attempted to bring him to a hospital, but he was already dead.
Police said no other vehicle was involved in the incident.*
