A man was found dead in Purok 3, Brgy. Maningcao, Sibulan, Negros Oriental, on Thursday, Aug. 21.
The police identified the victim as Bruno Granalem Vailoces Jr., also known as “Junior Bacol,” about 40 years old and a resident of Brgy. Maningcao.
The body was discovered around 7:30 a.m. by a barangay official, who immediately reported the incident to police.
Responding officers arrived at about 8:15 a.m. and found Vailoces lying lifeless on his wooden bed with visible wounds on his arm.
Police have requested a post-mortem examination from the Sibulan Rural Health Unit, while the local government unit was tasked with the proper disposition of the body.
Authorities are conducting further investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.*
