A 22-year-old man was found dead at a public cemetery in Barangay Granada, Bacolod City, Wednesday afternoon, March 16.
The fatality was identified as Darwin “Tripol” Nunez of Barangay Estefania.
The victim’s brother Daniel Nunez found his lifeless body on top of a tomb, the police said.
The victim sustained stab wounds on his neck and stomach.
Police investigation showed that the victim met with somebody in the area on March 15 to deliver marijuana. He failed to go home, which is why his family looked for him at the cemetery.
Police are looking at illegal drugs as the motive for the killing.*
