A man died after being hit by a van while crossing the road in Barangay Man-uling, Cauayan, at around 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 17.
The victim was identified as Edgar Yonson, 51, a resident of Purok Malabong, Barangay 2, in Ilog.
The driver of the vehicle, a Toyota HiAce Commuter van, was Jasper Baterna, 44, a resident of Sipalay City.
Yonson was crossing the road to buy cigarettes when he was hit by the van, the police said.*
