Dedicate your love to the city by loving your work.

That was the message Vice Mayor Leo Rafael Cueva to the city officials and employees during the city’s first flag raising ceremony this month at the Sagay City Government Center, Monday, February 6.

In his speech, Cueva said they should equate the celebration of love month this February in their service to the government, where everyone works hard and dedicated to serve the community.

“Let us continue to love our beloved city and the Sagaynons by continuing to love our work,” he said.

Cueva said that the employees’ hardwork has not gone unnoticed, adding that their dedication was shown through the many awards and recognitions the city has reaped last year.

The program also held the recognition of some government offices and turnover of national award for the city’s anti-drug abuse program and seal of good local government incentive worth P7 million, all from the Department of Interior and Local Government, a press release from Sagay City said.

With this, Cueva urged the city officials and employees to continue their dedication towards a bright future for Sagaynons and the youth.

“Let us continue to emphasize the importance of good governance, transparency, and our commitment to provide the highest level of service to the people,” the Vice Mayor said.*
