
Presidential candidate Leni Robredo was winning in Negros Occidental, but lost in Bacolod City.
In Negros Occidental with 99.8 percent of the votes counted on Tuesday, Robredo garnered 527,321 votes, while Ferdinand Marcos Jr. had 482,344 votes.
Sara Duterte had 475,854 votes followed by Kiko Pangilinan with 376,288 for vice president in Negros Occidental.
Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacon supported Robredo but Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer and 28 of the 31 mayors of Negros Occidental were for Marcos.
Her campaign in Negros was mostly private sector driven.
In 2016, Robredo won in Negros Occidental with 614,440 votes to Marcos 119,149 in the race for vice president.
In Monday’s polls Marcos won with 121,179 votes, while Robredo had 112,051 votes in Bacolod City.
Duterte won as vice president in Bacolod with 120,394, while Pangilinan had 76,095 votes.
