A Kabankalanon was stabbed to death while he was sleeping by an unidentified suspect and his live-in partner was injured in their house at Purok Kalubihan, Brgy. 4, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Saturday. Feb. 8.
The police identified the fatality only as “Mel”, 69, and his live-in partner as “Andrea”, 23.
The suspect stabbed Mel in the chest and when Andrea woke up she was also stabbed.
The victims were brought to a hospital but Mel was declared dead on arrival.*
