The Land Transportation Office Negros Island Region has terminated job order personnel following separate incidents that exposed illegal “fixing” of official transactions, the LTO-NIR said on Saturday, April 11.
Acting Regional Director Jeck Conlu said the move is part of a strict “zero corruption” policy being implemented in the office.
He said that personnel involved in illegal practices will face appropriate sanctions, including termination.
The agency also reminded the public to transact only with authorized personnel and official offices to avoid illegal transactions.
LTO-NIR reiterated their commitment to eliminate corruption and ensure transparent and lawful services.*
