A magnitude 4.2 earthquake, which epicenter was located off the coast of Guimbal, Iloilo, at 6:48 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, also shook parts of Bacolod City and Negros Occidental.
It was felt at Intensity II in Bago City, Valladolid and Pulupandan, and at Intensity I in La Carlota City and EB Magalona in Negros Occidental, Irene Bel Ploteña, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, said.

At Riverside College in Bacolod students also left their classrooms and the school declared a shift to online classes.*
