The management of the Alfredo E. Marañon Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, announced Sunday, Dec. 3, that AEMSMDH will “temporarily suspend admissions effective immediately until further notice”.
Only extreme emergency cases will be catered to, the hospital management announced.
“The number of patients coming in to the Emergency Room has greatly increased. The situation has resulted to our triage tent, emergency room and all wards to reach full bed capacity,” it said.
The management advised the public to look for alternative hospitals.
It said it will provide an update once the situation changes and apologizes for the inconvenience.
“Thank you for understanding and bearing with us in this difficult times,” it said.*
