
The health insurance for 2,174 Negros Occidental provincial government employees has been activated, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said on Friday, Nov. 21.
Diaz turned over checks worth ₱14.2 million to Saver Plan Medical and Healthcare Services, represented by its General Manager Elmer Doctora, as payment for the group health insurance coverage of provincial government employees.
Capitol department and office heads and officers of the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) led by its president Randy Peacita, witnessed the ceremonial turnover of the checks at the Capitol on Friday.
The provincial government of Negros Occidental is authorized to utilize the medical allowance granted under DBM Budget Circular No. 2024-6 for group insurance or other health-related benefits for eligible employees, as provided under Ordinance No. 005, Series of 2025, Diaz said.*
