Former poll commissioner and Cadiz City mayor Rowena Guanzon is aiming for a congressional seat in the 2025 polls as a partylist representative.
Guanzon arrived at the Manila Hotel tent to file the Komunidad ng Pamilya, Pasyente at Persons with Disabilities (P3PWD) party-list certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) as its first nominee in a wheelchair on Sunday, Oct. 6.
She chose to represent the P3PWD party-list because her nephew has autism, Guanzon said.
Guanzon said if she gains a seat in Congress the P3PWD Party list will push for:
*A disability allowance bill for PWDs
* The full disclosure bill filed by then Rep. Leni Robredo
*The Anti EPAL Bill of the late Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago; and the Anti Political Dynasty Bill.
