Bacolod Mayor Greg Gasataya has issued Executive Order No. 015, Series of 2025, ordering the clearing of obstructions on streets and roads throughout Bacolod City.
The identified road obstructions include illegal structures, street vending encroachments, unauthorized parked vehicles, and other public space violations that pose safety hazards.
On Monday, July 14, the City Legal Office Enforcement Team, led by retired PCol. Levy Pangue, cleared the sidewalk outside ETCS 2 of vendors.
It will be the obligation of the barangay officials to maintain the cleared area, the mayor said.
The City Engineering Office and the Bacolod Traffic and Transport Management Department will jointly implement the clearing operations and submit monthly accomplishment reports to the offices of the mayor and vice mayor.*
