Three houses were destroyed and mausoleum was damaged in four barangays in Bacolod City on All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, the Bacolod City Fire Station reported.
The house of Osalie Guarte valued at P60,000 in Purok Lemongrass, Brgy. Cabug, was destroyed by fire at 7:40 p.m. Friday, the report said.
Fire also destroyed a house in Paglaum Village, Brgy. Mansilingan, at about 11:04 p.m. Friday.
Destroyed was the house of Mialyn and Leonardo Lobaton with losses estimated at P10,000.
A house owned by Jhodel Aurelio was also destroyed in Purok Badiang, Brgy, Sum-ag, at about 10:20 p.m. Friday.
Damage was placed at P6,250 affecting one family. An 18-year-old resident had difficulty breathing and was brought to a hospital.
On Saturday a fire also hit a mausoleum at Greenhills Memorial Park and Crematorium in Purok Villa Villeta, Brgy. Estefania, causing P5,000 in damage.*
