The case of a Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, resident who was caught using a fake negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test certification has been referred to the Bacolod City Legal Office.
Dr. Edwin Miraflor Jr., officer-in-charge of the Bacolod City Health Office (CHO), said the case of the Hinigaran resident was referred to the CLO for proper legal action.
He said since the no vaccine, no work policy was implemented and unvaccinated workers were required to present negative RT-PCR test results, they have caught several people using fake vaccination cards.
The Hinigaran resident was caught by the Bacolod Monitoring Team of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office when he presented the fake RT-PCR result at the BREDCO Port.
Authorities did not allow him to board the roll-on, roll-off vessel bound for Iloilo following the discovery of the fake RT-PCR test result.*
