The Regional Mobile Force Battalion of the Police Regional Office-7 found parts of an improvised explosive devices (IED) in Sitio Badjang, Brgy. Dobdob, Valencia, Negros Oriental, last week.
The police found several parts of IEDs in the area at about 5 p.m. of Wednesday.
They found three pieces of main charge, three peanut bulbs, three 10-meter firing wires, a 9-volt energizer battery, and a switch on Wednesday, January 17, the police said.
The RMFB-7 turned over the IED parts to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit for safe disposal.
The police reminded the public to be vigilant and if they find explosive devices, they should report it to the nearest police station.*
