Duterte appoints Hinlo PACC commissioner

Bacolod lawyer Jesus V. Hinlo Jr. took his oath of office before Mayor Evelio Leonardia as newly appointed commissioner of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) at the Bacolod City Government Center Tuesday, January 25.

Hinlo is a former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary and recently resigned as member of the Board of Directors of the Land Bank of the Philippines after being appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte in 2017.

He is also a resident of Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City.

Leonardia, in a press release, described Hinlo as a very competent lawyer with the necessary experience and skill-set to fulfill his duties.

The signing and proclaiming of Oath of Office conducted by Mayor Leonardia was witnessed by Rotary District Governor Joe Jay “Jude” Doctora, Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Negros Occidental president Josephine Maria E. Natalaray, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, Emergency Operations Center executive director Em Ang and City Legal Officer Joselito Bayatan.*
