
The police are searching for about three suspects in the killing of an alleged drug surrenderee who was found dead in Purok Sunrise Village, Brgy. Blumentritt, Murcia town in Negros Occidental, on Sunday, December 31.
Cornelio Buyco, 25, a construction worker and resident of Purok Graciana, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Murcia, was found dead with multiple stabbed wounds and head trauma, Sunday morning.
The victim soaked in blood was found by the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) sitting on a piece of wood.
The investigators found six stab wounds on his back and arms, and blunt traumas on his head and face.
The victim was going to Brgy. Blumentritt to buy meat, Maj. Marc Joel Reclamado, Murcia police chief, said.
The police also said that the victim is a drug surrenderee.*
