An alleged drug personality was injured after he was shot at by unidentified suspects in Brgy. 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, October 24.
Wenmer Pamilar, alias “Beboy”, 28, was shot by unidentified suspects, while Rica Jane Villegado, 18, a passerby, was also wounded by a stray bullet during the incident, the police reported.
Villegado was walking in an alley when she heard a gunshot and saw the suspect chasing the victim while shooting.
Pamilar was shot on his neck and different parts of his body, while Villegado was wounded by the stray bullet on her leg, the police reported.
San Carlos Police Chief, Lt. Col. Jesus Mesahon Jr., said that Pamilar was an alleged drug personality, which could be a possible motive for the incident.
The victims were brought to San Carlos City Hospital, while the suspects fled in an unknown direction, the police said.*
