The Department of Energy announced on Friday, October 20, that the average prevailing price of gasoline in Bacolod City is at P65/liter.
Based on their monitoring from Oct. 17 to 19, the common price of gasoline is P65 to P65.90/liter in Bacolod City, lower than the other cities monitored in Negros Occidental by the agency.
Records showed that prices of diesel are at P65.50 to P66.45/liter for Petron, P66.90 to P67.55/liter for Shell, P65.50/liter for Caltex and Phoenix, P63.30/liter for Total, P65.50/liter for Seaoil, and P61.99 to P64.90/liter for independent brands.
Octane 91 prices per liter at Petron are P64.45 to P65, Shell – P67.50 to P68.31, Caltex – 65, Phoenix, Total – P64.30, Seaoil – P65, and independent brands – P61.05 to P64.80.
Octane 95 prices are P65.35 to P65.90 in Petron, P71.7 to P72.95 for Shell, P66 for Caltex, P65.90 for Phoenix, P65.40 for Total, P65.90 to P66 for Seaoil, and other brands at P61.40 to P65.50.
Diesel plus prices for Shell in Bacolod is ranging from P76.15 to P76.95.
Meanwhile in San Carlos, gas pump prices per liter range from P63.70 to P70.95 for Octane 95, P62.65 to P69.95 for Octane 91, P63.20 to P72.95 for diesel, and P72.45 for diesel plus.
In Kabankalan City, common per liter prices of Octane 95 is P66.85, Octane 91 is P65.95, and diesel – P68, and in Cadiz City the average prices is at P67.*
