The construction of the new 7-storey Negros Occidental Provincial Administration Center in Bacolod City is expected to be completed in March.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said the windows of the building located at Gatuslao Street in Bacolod City still need to be installed.
The furniture and fixtures have arrived and are part of the nearly P1 billion fund allocated for the construction of the building.
Its construction by Dynamic Builders and Construction Co. Inc. began in 2022.
Some of the provincial government offices are expected to move to the new PAC building when it becomes operational.
The offices of the governor and provincial administrator will remain at the Capitol building, Diaz said.*
