Two children in Bacolod City have died from dengue, bringing the total number of dengue-related deaths in the city to four this year, the City Health Office (CHO) reported on Monday, August 4.
The two most recent deaths, both in July, involved a 6-year-old girl from Barangay Handumanan and a 5-year-old boy from Barangay Vista Alegre.
The 6-year-old girl had a fever starting on July 9. She was hospitalized on July 14 and died on July 17.
