Three job order workers who have worked for the Bacolod City government for three to four decades finally are regular employees.
Mayor Greg Gasataya announced their regularization after the flag raising ceremony in front of the Bacolod City Government Center Monday morning, Dec. 1.
The three are Ritchie Opao, who has been a JO for 42 years; Vicente Candar, 35 years; and Cesar Zuniega Jr., 32 years.
They all work at the City Engineer’s Office as maintenance men.
Gasataya said he met the JOs who have worked for the city government for decades during the recent clearing of waterways and decided to make them regular employees because it is what they deserve.*
