A 44-year-old mother was stabbed to death while she was sleeping Tuesday morning, May 10, in her house at Barangay Robles in La Castellana town, Negros Occidental.
The suspects were her daughter and her boyfriend, both 17 years old.
The victim’s daughter texted her boyfriend to come over to their house so they could kill her mother, an initial police investigation showed.
Capt. Rhogn Darell Nigos, La Castellana police chief, said the mother told her daughter that she is not favor of her relationship with her boyfriend, which may be the reason why she was murdered.
Both admitted to the killing.
Parricide and murder charges will be filed against the two minor-suspects who were turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.*
