Covid hits 12 docs, 78 others in seven Negros Occidental hospitals

The COVID-19 hit Health Care Workers in seven Negros Occidental provincial government hospitals increased to 90 on Saturday, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said on Sunday, January 23.

Twelve doctors have been hit by the virus and the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City still has the highest number of infected personnel at 54, he said.

COVID-19 has hit seven doctors, 17 nurses, four nursing attendants, one midwife, seven medical technologists, two pharmacists, one radiologic technologist and 15 support/administration staff at the TLJPH, Diaz said.

The virus has also hit seven nurses and one nursing attendant at the Cadiz District Hospital in Cadiz City, three doctors, two pharmacists and a nursing attendant at the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City, a doctor, dentist, three nurses and one support staff at the Valladolid District Hospital in Valladolid town;

A pharmacist at the Valeriano M. Gatuslao District Hospital in Himamaylan City, a doctor, two nurses a dietician, medical technologist, ambulance driver, one support staff and a pharmacist at the Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial District Hospital in La Carlota City, and six nurses and a nursing attendant at the Ignacio L. Arroyo Memorial District Hospital in Isabela, Diaz said.*
