The police arrested a “high-value drug personality” and seized suspected shabu worth P612,000 in Purok Kawayan, Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City, at 1:07 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Alias “Francisco” of Barangay Banago was arrested by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit and Bacolod Maritime Police Station.
They seized suspected shabu weighing 72 grams from “Francisco”, the police said.
The suspect, who is now in police custody, will be charged for violation of sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The Bacolod City Police Office is urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that may contribute to the proliferation of illegal substances in the city.*
