The Bacolod City and Kabankalan City police arrested five persons and seized suspected shabu worth P748,000 in a series of buy-bust operations from Tuesday to Thursday, October 1 to 3.
Alias “Kalbo”, 23, and alias “Led”, 32, residents of Brgy. 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, were arrested on Tuesday with 36 grams of suspected shabu.
The estimated street drug price of the seized shabu was P244,800.
Meanwhile, the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested alias “Toto, a resident of Brgy. 10 and a high-value drug personality on Wednesday.
The police recovered 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at P340,000 from him.
The next day, operatives from Police Station 7 arrested alias “Jefferson”, a resident of Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, in a buy-bust operation.
The police seized 15 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street drug price of P102,000 from him.
On Thursday another drug personality was arrested in Purok Starapple 2, Brgy. 27, Bacolod.
The suspect was identified as alias “Rafael”, a resident of Purok Starapple 2, and seized from him was suspected shabu worth P61, 500.
All of the suspects are detained by the police and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
