Four persons were arrested after allegedly robbing an individual in Brgy. 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, early Thursday morning, August 24, the police reported.
Micheal and Francisco Toyogan, Jereco Burdago, and John Mar Sta. Ana, from Brgy. Buenavista and Brgy. Hilaitan, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental, were arrested after allegedly robbing Jeffrey Quiro, 34, the police report said.
The police said the four robbed Quiro of his cellphone at about 12:30 a.m. on Thursday and fled.
The duty alert team and investigator of the San Carlos Police Station conducted a hot pursuit operation and spotted the suspects in Brgy. Palampas , San Carlos City.
The suspects were positively identified by the victim and the responding police recovered Quiro’s phone, a .45 caliber pistol and ammunition.
The four are now detained at the San Carlos Police Station.*
