Cops nab 2 technicians for cutting PLDT cable

The police apprehended two technicians cutting cables of a telecommunications company in Brgy. 4, Bacolod City, on Saturday, March 9.

Arrested were telco technicians Francis Den Tan, 21, and Jeric Marone, 29, the police reported.

The suspects were apprehended after they were caught in the act of cutting and taking away a Copper Areal Cable of PLDT without authority or instructions from the company, the police said.

Recovered from them were 66 feet of copper cables worth P26,500, a steel ladder, and a utility vehicle owned by INSCIO Cable and Communication Supply Corporation, the police added.

The suspects are now detained at Bacolod Police Station 2.*
