The police arrested two men wanted for alleged violation of Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act in Bago City and Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, March 4.
Operatives of the 2nd Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company together with Bago and Pulupandan policemen arrested alias “Jeroh”, 35, in Brgy. Lag-asan, Bago.
The operation was conducted by virtue of a warrant of arrest for alleged acts of lascivious with bail fixed at P180,000.
He is now detained at the Bago City Police Station.
The Binalbagan police also arrested alias “Andoy”, 67, of Brgy. Aguisan, Himamaylan City, in Sitio Tap-ok, Brgy. Enclaro, Binalbagan.
He was arrested for alleged acts of lasciviousness by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 56 in Himamaylan City on Feb. 17, with bail fixed at P180,000.
He is now detained at the Himamaylan Police Station.*
