The Bacolod City police arrested a construction worker tagged as a most wanted person in an operation in Purok Strapple 2, Brgy. 27, on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The police, who withheld the name of the person arrested, said he is from Purok Malipayon, Brgy. Tabao Baybay, San Enrique, Negros Occidental.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Another drug personality was also arrested in an operation in Brgy. Villamonte on Friday. Sept. 20.
The PNP Drug Enforcement Group operation led to the arrest of alias “Escobar”, 27, a resident of Brgy. Singcang-Airport.
Both suspects are now detained at Police Station 4 in Brgy. Villamonte.*
