Two newly identified drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of suspected shabu worth P340,000 in Yap Quiña Subdivision, Brgy. 1, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The police identified the suspects as alias “Ian Jaro,” 41, a businessman classified as a “high-value individual”, and alias “Micah,” 38, a businesswoman listed as a “street-level individual”.

Both are residents of Fortune Town Subdivision, Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City.

The operation stemmed from information received by the Victorias City Police from a confidential informant.

Authorities said the seized drugs weighed around 50 grams with a street value of P340,000.

The confiscated items were submitted to the Negros Occidental Provincial Forensic Unit for examination and both suspects are detained at the Victorias City Police Station pending legal proceedings.*
