A Moises Padilla resident wanted for alleged rape was arrested by the police in Sitio Dos Hermanos, Brgy. Buenavista, Murcia in Negros Occidental on Thursday, November 2.
Reggie Española, 42, of Brgy. Guinpana-an Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, was arrested by the police by virtue of a warrant of arrest.
The suspect was the number one most wanted person in Moises Padilla and number nine most wanted in Negros Occidental, the police said.
He was charged with two counts of rape under Republic Act 8353 and a warrant for his arrest was issued by a La Carlota City Regional Trial Court judge on Sept. 8, 2022, with no bail recommended.
The suspect is now detained at the Murcia Police Station.*
