There are 72,446 Negros Island Region residents who have registered to vote from October 20, 2025 to Jan. 17 this year, the Commission on Elections reported on Wednesday.
Negros Occidental has the most number of new registrants at 49,2676 followed by 22,190 in Negros Oriental and 989 in Siquijor, the Comelec report said.
The Comelec said there are more females who registered at 38,347. The male registrants are 34,099.
The registration of voters is being conducted in connection with the holding of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on Nov. 2.*
