
A 22-year-old college graduate who was preparing to take his board examination was arrested with his aunt, a woman tagged as the second most wanted drug personality in Himamaylan City, in a buy-bust operation on Friday night, July 11.
Alias “Dayle,” and his 48-year-old aunt “Michelle,” were arrested in Purok 8, Brgy Aguisan in Himamaylan City, the police said on Monday.
Lt. Col. Anthony Grande, Himamaylan Police Chief , said Dayle had just graduated, while Michelle, who is unemployed, was the subject of the operation.
Michelle and Dayle conspired in selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer, the police said..
Two other men, identified by their aliases “Zaldy” and “Jonnil,” were also caught at the scene allegedly participating in the illegal drug activity.
Recovered from the suspects were 56 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P380,800, the police said.
All four suspects are now detained at the Himamaylan City Police Station while the illegal drugs have been turned over to the Negros Occidental Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory testing.
Charges against them are being prepared for proper filing, the police said.*
