
The Negros Occidental provincial government will start releasing the bonuses and cash gifts of its employees after Nov. 15.
The early release will help provincial government employees who may be undertaking repairs of their homes following the recent typhoons, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
To be released after the November 15 payday is the year-end bonus of the employees equivalent to one month’s salary as well as the P5,000 cash gift, he said.
The Performance Based Bonus equivalent to 50 percent of the employees’ salaries will also be released, he said.
It is not yet known yet how much the additional bonus to be given in December will be, that will be decided by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, Diaz said.
The long-awaited HEA or Health Emergency Allowance for healthcare workers who served during the COVID-19 pandemic was released on Tuesday, he said.
The fund came from the national government.*
