
A man was killed and a bystander was injured after they were shot in Brgy. Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, early Monday morning, Nov. 13.
Romel Francisco, 25, was killed after a heated argument with the suspect Micheal Vidal, 40, who allegedly shot him multiple times, the police said.
An 18-year-old man, who was a bystander, was hit by a stray bullet on his right leg.
Bystanders said there was a heated argument between the suspect and the victim which resulted in a fistfight.
Then the suspect pulled out his gun and shot the victim .
Lt. Col. Gil John Despi , Cadiz City police chief, said Francisco sustained multiple gunshots in different parts of his body that resulted in his death.
Both victims were rushed to the Cadiz City District Hospital but Francisco was declared dead on arrival.
The suspect, who could face homicide charges, is at large, Despi said.*
