The Bacolod Traffic Authority (BTAO) on Monday, October 9, explained road closures for four MassKara Festival events.
Maj. Junjie Liba, BTAO head, said at the Bacolod Public Plaza festival site there will be four roads that will be closed from 3 p.m. to 5 a.m. until October 23.
The roads are Rizal, Gatuslao, Gonzaga and San Juan streets that surround the Bacolod Public Plaza.
Liba said for the Cosmic MassKara Music Festival Lacson Street from BS Aquino Drive to Cottage Road, and the North Capitol Road will closed from 3 p.m. to 5 a.m. from October 19 to 22.
Road closure for the Electric MassKara will start from St. Francis Street through the Circumferential Road and end at Burgos Avenue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 21, Liba added.
He also said for the street dance and arena competition the roads around the Bacolod Public Plaza and Araneta Avenue ending at Lizares Street will be closed from noon to 6 p.m. on October 22.
The media were told that simplified graphics of the road closures would be released for easier understanding of the road closures on Monday but were not available as of press time.*
