A decomposing body of a man found floating in the waters off Suyac Island in Barangay Taba-ao, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, remained unidentified on Sunday, Feb . 23.
The victim, who was approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall with an angel tattoo on his right arm and a Jesus Christ tattoo on his left arm, was discovered 10 a.m. Saturday, the police said.
He was also wearing a rosary around his neck.
The victim’s body may have been carried by strong current to the area, the police added.
There were no signs of foul play or struggle observed on the cadaver.
The police are coordinating with other police stations to establish the identity of the victim.*
